It looks to me like the launcher suppresses certain error messages. I kept clicking play from the Glyph Launcher and nothing was happening. No error messages, just acted like I didn't even click it. I [..]

I noticed this after the patch today. (11.25.14)
My FPS is shooting way over 60. Until today it stayed solid at 60 as I have adaptive V-Sync forced on for Rift.exe in the Nvida control panel.
